Water capacity increased by fitting an additional tank behind coal space in March/April 2010. Not known if tank has been replaced since preservation. When originally restored c1962 the number plate fitted carried the number 3442 (the LNER number of 61994). This plate had been removed by 1973 and subsequently a plate with the correct number, 7570, has been fitted. To be displayed at purpose built museum Balbuthie Farm, Kilconquhar, Fife. |
