| Additional Notes |
This is a new build tender built in the style of the of narrow gauge tenders supplied by Decauville for some of their locomotives. The tender is primarily used to provide a bit of extra space for the crew and carry a few tools and handy bits and pieces. This includes, when needed, two containers of water though these are not piped to the locomotive and are tipped into the side tanks by hand. There is a tiny compartment for coal with a capacity of about 2.5 cubic feet. Probably uniquely for a steam locomotive tender a battery powered fridge can be carried. |
