| Additional Notes |
Chassis built By Riley & Son, Bury. Originally fitted in 1994 with an original 5000 gallon tank from tender 3119. This tank was removed and sold for scrap in December 2015. The chassis was then overhauled and a new 5500 gallon tank, which was built by Adam Dalgleish of Stockton on Tees, was fitted. In 2025 additional work was carried out to fit the tender with air braking for mainline running. The air tanks are fitted where the vacuum tanks were previously but are much taller resulting in a difference appearance of the tender behind the coal space compared to the original design. The number 000 is that allocated to it by Southern Locomotives Ltd. |
