This tender is believed to comprise of the frames from the tender bought with GWR Manor class 4-6-0 no. 7808 from BR in 1966 and the tank from tender 2106 (purchased from Woodham Bros, Barry where it had arrived with 2884 class 2-8-0 no.3814). Both frames and tank were extensively repaired before being put together. At present the number of the tender 7808 was purchased with is not known. |
