Additional Notes This is a new build tender completed in 1983 to the Bulleid 5500 gallon pattern. The tank does not have raves fitted. The wheels, axleboxes and springs were from an LNER tender. When built it was fitted with spoked wheels but these were replaced with disc wheels on the original axles circa 1990. At the same time the coal bunker was extended to increase coal capacity and the tender ran in this condition for many years. During the current overhaul started in 2024 the coal bunker is being altered back to the original size for a Bulleid 5500 gallon tender.
