This is the original tank from 5000 gallon High Sided Non Corridor tender no 724 which during preservation was used with LNER A2 class 4-6-2 no. 60532. A new tank was fitted circa 2022 and the original tank is currently (March 2023) stored on wagon DB904524 at Peak Rail's Rowley site. Nothing is known about what the owner intends to do with it in the future. |
