Additional Notes 92219 arrived at Woodham Bros, Barry with a BR BR1G 5000 gallon tender. This was subsequently sold to Duport Ltd in Spring 1969 for use as an ingot carrier with the tank removed. No tender was bought when the locomotive was preserved and to date no tender has been built or acquired for it. Restoration of the loco started around late 2023/early 2024. An article in Steam Railway magazine no 557 April/May 2024 stated that if a new tender is built a BR1G 5000 gallon type is most likely, though the possibility of hiring a tender has not been discounted.
