The actual identity of this tender has not been established but it arrived at Woodham Bros, Barry with GWR 28XX class 4-6-0 no. 2873. The last tender on this loco's record card is no. 2235 but the loco ran for another 2 years when no information was added to the record card and it could have been swapped for another one during this time. Tank and chassis separated by 2010. New tank fitted in 2013.The tender is now complete but restoration of the loco continues. |
