Tender frames built by I D Howitt Ltd, Crofton. Tank built by North View Engineering Solutions of Darlington. Steam Railway magazine November 2025 reported that wheelsets have been fitted and tank has been trial fitted to the frames. The next stage of work on the tender will involve adjustments to fit the European Train Control System (ETCS). Though it has not been confirmed it is expected that the water capacity will be increased with corresponding reduction in coal capacity. |
