Built a number of years ago. This tank was mounted on a set of Collett frames at one stage though has never run in that condition. It was intended to be part of a tender for 7027 GWR Castle class 4-6-0. The sale of this loco to the Great Western Society as a source of spares means the future plan for this tank is not known. The locomotive has moved to Tyseley Locomotive Works in July 2023. It is not known if the tender tank has also been moved there. |
