Locomotives Used with this Tender The locomotive and tender were restored to NBR livery in August 1959 and remained in British Railways stock until official withdrawal in December 1962.

Additional Notes NBR tenders carried a number plate up to grouping in 1923 but these were then removed with the tenders having no specific identity. However in 1955 BR gave numbers to all NBR un numbered tenders. The tender with loco 62469 was given the number 9026 in 1955. It is not known at present if this is the tender the loco is still coupled to.

The current number plate carried by the tender was put on when the tender was restored but it should not be assumed that this was the original number of this tender.
