Additional Notes 76077 arrived at Woodham Bros, Barry with a BR BR2A 3500 gallon tender. This tender was sold with BR class 4 2-6-0 no 76017 and carries number 1462 (q.v.). No tender was bought when 76077 was bought for preservation Steam Railway magazine no 547 July-August 2023 says that wheelsets for a BR2A tender have been bought from the Bluebell Railway. These wheelsets were rescued from a tender frame at Duport Ltd steelworks, Briton Ferry in 1978. Restoration of the loco has started.
