This tender was built from two separate tenders. The chassis is from a tender purchased c1975-1978 from BR at Tavistock Jct which had been in departmental use. The tank from this tender was then removed and subsequently scrapped. The tank is off the tender that 4920 Dumbleton Hall left Woodham Bros, Barry scrapyard with and the chassis of this tender has also been scrapped. The locomotive and tender were exported to Japan in December 2021 for use in a Harry Potter based theme park being built in Osaka. |
