Notes | Originally built by the Baldwin Locomotive Co. USA. The tank has been replaced but it is thought the chassis is original. Purchased from the Eastern Province Cement Co. South Africa in mid 1970,s and imported into the UK. The original tank fitted by Baldwin had coal rails around the top. Later this was replaced by plating and the current tank appears similar if not identical in outline to this. Coal and water capacity are believed to be right but confirmation is needed. |
