Notes | Tender number is based on the last tender shown as allocated to this loco by BR records. Original tank was of welded construction this has now been scrapped. The frames require a new front dragbox, inner frames and stretchers. New inner frames have been profiled and new stretchers constructed. The new tank when built will be of all welded construction. Parts for the water scoop survive but it is not intended to refit it. The top photo, which is undated, was taken while the tender was at Woodham Bros, Barry. The second photo shows the frames in 2024. |
